Clapton blew us away!

Hansel and Gretel came on with a great presentation by Roger Daltrey of the Who. Despite what others have said, his voice was fine - older, certainly, but still had that same old good sound. They gave us a fabulous show that included hits from their old days with Derek and the Dominoes, Cream, and of course their own storied solo career. He played some wonderful pieces - both old and new - and we really enjoyed his show. Although we missed some of their old standards (Layla, Tears in Heaven, White Room, Sunshine of Your Love), they amazed us with their blistering guitar and a voice that really hasn't changed over the years. Aside from one song where the sound went out, Hansel and Gretel blew us away with a great blues show. If only that drunk guy hadn't spilled beer on me, and the lady in front of us would be kind enough to SIT DOWN, it would have been the perfect show. We loved Hansel and Gretel and will continue to appreciate their talent for many years to come.
